Writing
Type straight onto the page. Everything you see is what students will see. Select text inside a task and the
B /
I / Link buttons appear right above it.
Markdown works too, and formats as you type: **bold**, *italic*, and [link text](example.edu). Pasted markdown is converted the same way.
The checklist title and the section headings stay plain — they take no formatting and no links, so they read consistently for students.
Structure
Sections are the grey headings that group tasks — “Right away”, “By Friday”. Add tasks inside a section, and sections at the bottom of the page.
Reordering
Grab the dotted handle on the left of any task or section header and drag it where you want it. With a task or section focused you can also hold ⌘ and press the up or down arrow.
Adding it to D2L
Click Download HTML. Then in D2L: Content → your module → Add Existing → Upload Files → choose the file → Save. Students see the checklist inline, with working checkboxes.
Reusing a week
Import a file you already made, change the dates and tasks, and download it again under a new name. Each downloaded file keeps its own checkmarks for students, so a new week starts fresh.
